To Pro or Not to Pro
Only 10MB / month of photos. No problem, I adapted. Only 3 photo groups allowed. I grouped my photos into 3 all-encompassing groups. Piece of cake. But now I’ve run into another ceiling on my free Flickr account - only the 200 most recent pictures will be shown. I probably can’t outsmart this one…
Any Flickr pro users out there? Is it worth it?
Or has anybody found a better site?
They’re like a drug dealer. They get you addicted and then up the price. After 200 pictures invested in the site, can you really quit or switch to something else?
You could always just create two accounts, and then presto: 400 pictures.

Yeah, a better site would be nice, but I’m honestly not sure it exists. Flickr does support what photo sharing needs I have (making notes, commenting, etc), and their usability has steadily improved.
As for two accounts… I dunno. Then I’d have to think about which pictures went to which accounts. Would it be time based? Does that make sense? With my new camera, the number of pictures that I take will only increase more and more rapidly.

I bought flickr pro, and have since bought accounts for 4 other people. Pretty much I love it, and I think it’s totally worth it- I have all 2500 photos there, and I can see all of my Dad’s and both of my sister’s pictures. I know all my photos are there, and it’s also really nice to see what my family is up to while knowing that none of us have to worry about upload limits.
