It sat there so innocently. “Hey, guess what day today is?” it would ask, hoping to spur my memory. “Uh… Thursday?” I responded without thinking. I was too distracted with work to notice that it went off to cry in the corner.

Yesterday was, in fact, my second anniversary with blogging. What did I have planned to mark the occasion? Maybe an unveiling of a previously spoiled redesign? Perhaps a cool new section for the blog that’s been in the works for a couple months? Yeah… none of that is actually ready right now… -sheepish grin-

So quick! I need a fallback celebration. Hmmm… I’ve got it! I’ll take my blog out for sushi.

I’ve seen sushi candles (thanks Quinn), but never sushi memory sticks. What would be really cool is if the size influenced the amount of storage space. Because futomaki is way more filling than a california roll, as we all know…

Perhaps carrying my new blog theme around on a sushi memory stick for a while will encourage me to work on it. Either that or I’ll eat it by accident thinking, “Oooh, I saved some sushi for later, sweet.” Seriously, it’s a concern. I think the key is to get one that’s modeled after a gross kind of sushi (difficult for me… do they make a natto USB key?). That will ensure no accidental consumption.
